Description

An original folk art painting by Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Amish Artist, Abner Zook. Housed in a beautiful hand carved by Abner, frame.  Abner painted this piece in 1957 for McCarter Theater, which was the Princeton University theater. Jimmy Stewart was one of McCarters stars, in 1930, when he was in the chorus. Abner and his twin Brother, Aaron, were know for their masterful dioramas depicting Amish life.
