Description
Dutch farmyard scene of Milkmaid, cows, and chickens, by listed artist Henry Schouten. Schouten was tutored at the art academy in Brussels, by Alfred Verwee, were he went on to become a successful and respected artist whose primary subject matter were farmyard scenes.
